References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

Abstract:

Abstract:

Goal: Glomerulonefritis is one of the major causes of chronic kidney disease, and is an expected increase in the frequency of death fear, anxiety and depression in patients. This study is planned to reveal whether there is a relationship between proteinuria and quality of life and depression, an important prognostic conclusion of the severity of the disease. Remedies and Methods: 29 patients diagnosed with glomerulonefritis in the Nefrology Clinic were included in the study. Patients were applied Short Form 36 (SF-36) and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HAD) in the 3rd and 6th months of diagnosis, treatment and monitoring. Relationships with the laboratory parameters were evaluated simultaneously. The average age of patients was 44 ± 17 years. 3rd and 6th months. In the months, statistically significant differences between depression and quality of life and proteinuria were observed. When patients were evaluated in terms of remission in the 6th month, the overall health, anxiety and pain parameters of 22 patients who entered partial and full remission were significantly different from those who did not enter the remission. The parameter in the initial depression and quality of life ratings, the hemoglobin level and the significant improvement in the depression ratings between the 3rd and 6th months, was also seen as a reduction in the amount of proteinure. In the presence of proteinuria in adults with glomerulopathy, regardless of kidney disorder, our study, where low quality of life, high depression and anxiety scores were detected, has once more emphasized the importance of proteinuria.

Course Of Glomerulonephritis; Relationship With Quality Of Life and Depression
2020

Abstract:

Materials and Methods: Twenty-nine glomerulonephritis diagnosed patients were included in the study by referring to Nephrology Clinic. Short Form 36 (SF36), Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HAD) were administered at the time of the disease diagnosis, at 3rd and 6th months of treatment and follow-up. It was evaluated by comparing with the laboratory parameters examined simultaneously. Results: The mean age was 44±17 years. There was a statistically significant difference between depression and QoL and proteinuria at baseline, third and 6th months. When the patients were evaluated in terms of remission at the 6th month, the overall health, anxiety and pain parameters of 22 patients who had partial and complete remission were found to be significantly different from those without remission. Hemoglobin level was the most effective parameter in the initial depression and quality of life scores, and the decrease in the amount of proteinuria was the most effective factor in the significant improvement in depression scores between 3 and 6 months. Conclusion: In the presence of proteinuria in adult glomerulopathy patients without renal dysfunction, our study emphasized the importance of proteinuria and its relation with low quality of life, high depression and anxiety scores once more.
