Bu çalışma devlet aklı kuramının geleneksel formu ile Machiavelli’nin düşünceleri arasında kurulan ilgiyi ele almaktadır. Geleneksel yoruma göre Machiavelli’nin etik-politik görüşleri devlet aklı kuramının öncüsüdür. Düşünürün vefatı sonrası öğretisinin bütünsel olarak Makyavelizm kavramına indirgenmesi bu kavrayışı güçlendirmektedir. Dolayısıyla devlet aklı ilkesi ile kurulan bu bağlantı, kavramı Machiavelli’nin görüşleriyle birlikte ele almayı gerektirmektedir. Çalışma bu doğrultuda ilk amaç olarak devlet aklı doktrininin geleneksel formu ile Machiavelli’nin öğretisini ele alma eğilimindedir. İkinci amaç olarak Machiavelli’nin devlet kuramının devlet aklı tartışmalarına indirgenemezliği değerlendirilecektir. Bu iki tartışma hattının serimlenmesi Machiavelli’nin politik öğretisinde ve yaşadığı dönem içerisinde devlet aklı kuramıyla ilgisinin düzeylerine işaret etmeye olanak sağlayacaktır.
This study addresses the interest established between the traditional form of state theory of mind and the thoughts of Machiavelli. According to the traditional interpretation, Machiavelli’s ethical-political views are the pioneers of the state theory of mind. The reduction of the thought's teaching after death to the concept of Makyavelism in general strengthens this concept. Therefore, this connection, established by the principle of state mind, requires the concept to be addressed along with the views of Machiavelli. The study in this direction tends to address the doctrine of Machiavelli with the traditional form of the state mind doctrine as the first purpose. The second objective will be to assess the immeasurability of Machiavelli’s state theory to state intellectual discussions. The consolidation of these two lines of debate will enable Machiavelli to point out the levels of his interest in the political doctrine and in the period in which he lived.
This study deals with the relationship established between the traditional form of the reason of state theory and Machiavelli's thoughts. According to the traditional interpretation, Machiavelli's ethical-political views are the pioneers of the reason of state theory. The holistic reduction of the post-death doctrine of the thinker to the concept of Machiavellianism strengthens this understanding. Therefore, this connection established with the principle of the reason of state requires reconsidering Machiavelli's views. In this direction, the study tends to take the traditional form of the doctrine of the reason of state mentality and Machiavelli's doctrine as the first aim. As the second purpose, the irreducibility of Machiavelli's theory of the state to discussions of the reason of state will be evaluated. The unfolding of these two lines of discussion will allow to point out the levels of Machiavelli's interest in the theory of the reason of state in his political teaching and in his time.
