Abstract:

This article is 40 km from the center of the Sorum. The aim is to introduce the architectural and decorative characteristics of the Trakköy Village Camii, which is located in the distance and known by the name of the village where it is located, with the Art History Methodology and comparing with similar examples to determine the location of the structure in the Anadolu Turkish architecture. In this context, after receiving the necessary permits from the Chorum Governorate, the Three-Koy Village Camii was examined in place. There is no building book in the village center built on a slightly inclined land. According to the repair book on the Minare cave, it was carried out in 1897. The building consists of a straight-course planed harm near the square with the last church place in the north and the minar in the west of the last church place. Cam from the outside breaking roof has a cover system placed in the midst of the flat wooden roof. In the interior there is a very simple decoration program. The place of the cube as a symbolic element in the cover system is common in religious and civil architecture in the Egean region and the Eastern Black Sea region. However, in these areas there is an intense decoration program in the interior of the bonded cubic structures. Chorum Trçköy Village Camii represents a modest example of the central Black Sea area of the bonded cubic structures with a simple harimi that can be from the point of view of thesis.
