Abstract:

Konya, who left the Byzantine rule in 1073 and met the Turkish-Islamic civilization, became the capital of the Anadolu Selçuklu State in 1097 andined this title for 235 years. This time has led to the sufficient celebration of the Conya in terms of immaculation. Therefore, on every street of Konya you can find a building identity such as the mosque, mosque, medrese and turbe of Selçuklu's original. While many of these works show monumental characteristics with their design, architecture and decoration characteristics, it should be seen as an emphasis on the capital of Konya. Without a doubt, a significant part of the hundreds of works built in the Selçuklu era in Konya are mosques. Some of these works have been able to reach until today, they have been renovated with the repairs they have spent, and they have been "long life". Some of them, unfortunately, are initially consciously and unconsciously destroyed by local institutions, and may be a book, a piece of cranberry, which is a memory in the museums; may only be found in an archive record. Here in this article, with contemporary and current sources, the Selçuklu mosques in Konya, which can be identified only with books or an old photo, are discussed. While it is painful to know that these mosques, which are so gentle and so monumental in every street of Konya belonging to Selçuklu, are sometimes destroyed by the excuse of leading, it gives hope when compared to both the legislative and more conscious human infrastructure of today.
