Amaç: Bu araştırma hastane çalışanı çocuk gelişimcilerin hastanelerde bulunan oyun odaları hakkındaki görüşlerinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Materyal Metot: Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Bingöl Kadın Doğum ve Çocuk Hastanesinde çalışan 2 çocuk gelişimci ve Elazığ Eğitim Araştırma Hastanesinde çalışan 3 çocuk gelişimci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın temel dayanağı olan veriler; araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan çocuk gelişimcilerin kişisel bilgilerinin yer aldığı “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve çocuk gelişimcilerin oyun odaları hakkındaki görüşlerini belirlemeye yönelik yarı yapılandırılmış “Görüşme Formu” aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Araştırmada, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Veriler, Şubat ve Mart ayları içerisinde Bingöl’de yüz yüze, Elazığ’da ise veriler katılımcılara mail yoluyla ulaşılarak telefonla görüşme yapılarak toplanmıştır. Açık uçlu soru formundan elde edilen veriler, nitel veri analiz yöntemlerinden betimsel analiz kullanılarak çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, iki il arasında oyun odası ile ilgili farklı görüşler olduğu saptanmıştır. Bingöl Kadın Doğum ve Çocuk Hastanesi’nde bulunan çocuk gelişimcilerin oyun odalarının kullanımda olduğunu, oyun odalarını yeterli ve gerekli bulduklarını ifade ederken; Elazığ Eğitim Araştırma Hastanesi’nde bulunan çocuk gelişimcilerin oyun odasını gerekli gördükleri fakat hastanelerinin taşınma aşamasında olduğunu ve buna bağlı olarak oyun odalarının şuanda aktif olarak kullanamadıklarını ifade etmişlerdir. Sonuç: Her iki hastanede de oyun odalarının ideal koşullara sahip olmadığı sonucuna varılmıştır.

Material and Method: The study group consists of 2 child development specialists working in Maternity and Children Hospital located in "A" city and 3 child development specialists working in Educational Research Hospital located in "B" city. The data, which is the mainstay of the research, was collected through the "Personal Information Form" where the personal information of the child development experts prepared by the researchers, and the semi-structured "Interview Form" were used to determine the opinions of the child development experts about the playrooms. Interview technique which is one of qualitative research methods was used in this research. Results: The data were collected in February and March by interviewing face to face in "A" city's, and interviewing through e-mail in "B" city's specialists. The data obtained from the open-ended questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive analysis of qualitative data analysis methods. As a result of the research, it was determined that there are different opinions about the playroom between the two provinces. Children's development specialist in Maternity and Children's Hospital in city of "A" states that playrooms are in use and that playrooms are adequate and necessary; on the other hand, the child development specialist in Education and Research Hospital located in "B" city stated that they needed a playroom but their hospitals were in the process of being moved and accordingly the playrooms could not actively be used by them. Conclusion: It was found that the play rooms in both hospitals did not have ideal conditions.
