Abstract:

Bu çalışmada amaç; Meslek Yüksekokullarının Gıda Teknolojisi Programlarından mezun olan Gıda Teknikerlerinin sahip olması gereken özelliklerinin gıda sektörü temsilcileri tarafından tespit edilmesidir. Araştırmada; Tekirdağ ilinde faaliyet gösteren ve Gıda Teknikeri istihdam eden kurum ve firma temsilcilerine uygulanan anket kullanılmıştır. Çalışma nicel ve nitel analizin birlikte kullanıldığı karma modelinde olup verilerin analizi SPSS istatistik programı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Nicel analiz sonuçlarına göre sektör temsilcilerinin; yenilikleri yakından takip eden, insanlarla iletişimi güçlü olan ve geleceğe yönelik planları konusunda işyerini bilgilendiren gıda teknikerlerine ihtiyaç duydukları belirlenmiştir. Nitel analiz sonuçlarına göre ise, Mesleki Bilgi ve Beceriler kategorisinde sektörün gıda teknikerinden 11 beklentisi bulunduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular dikkate alınarak, gıda tekniker adaylarının hizmet öncesinde Meslek Yüksekokullarında ve gıda teknikerlerinin ise sektörde çalışırken hizmet içinde geliştirilmeleri önerilmektedir. Bu çalışmaya katılan katılımcılara sorulan sorular, Tekirdağ Namık Kemal Üniversitesi Bilimsel Araştırma ve Yayın Etik Kurulu tarafından 30.05.2022 tarihinde onaylanmıştır.

Expectations of the GIDA sector from the GIDA technicians: Examples

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to identify the characteristics that food technicians who have graduated from the Food Technology Programs of the Professional High Schools should have by the representatives of the food sector. In the research, the survey was used to the representatives of the institutions and companies that operate in Tekirdağ province and employ food technicians. The study is in the mixed model where quantum and quality analysis are used together and the analysis of data is carried out with the SPSS statistical program. According to the results of Nicel analysis, industry representatives have been determined that they need food technicians who are closely tracking the innovations, who are strong in communication with people and who inform their workplace about their future plans. According to the quality analysis results, there are 11 expectations from the industry's food technicians in the category of Professional Knowledge and Skills. Given the findings obtained, food technicians are recommended to be developed in service before service at the Professional High Schools and food technicians while working in the industry. The questions asked to the participants who participated in this study were approved by Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University Scientific Research and Publishing Ethics Board on 30.05.2022.
