Abstract:

Universities are places where ideas and knowledge are produced, where the social and cultural interaction is intense, where many different users gather together. The university campus must be planned in accordance with the ecological, functional and aesthetic principles and qualified to meet all social, cultural, recreational, artistic and sports needs. In this study, the assessment of the 1st September establishment of the Uşak University was carried out in accordance with the principles of planning and design and the space and landscape character was studied. The research phases are made up of three basic sections: literary scan, data collection and analysis. As a result of the study, the positive and negative aspects of the Uşak University settlement were identified and solutions proposals were brought.
