Bu çalışmada, İç Anadolu Bölgesinde faaliyet göstermekte olan katılım bankaları ve mevduat bankalarının, banka müşterileri tarafından neden tercih edildiğinin ve banka müşterilerinin katılım ve mevduat bankaları üzerindeki memnuniyet derecesi ölçülmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla çalışmada kullanılan veri setine ilişkin değerlendirmelerin yapılabilmesi için frekans analizleri ve parametrik istatistiksel testlerden yararlanılmıştır. Çalışmanın ampirik sonuçlarından elde edilen bulgulara göre ise, katılım bankalarının banka müşterileri tarafından tercih edilmesinin en önemli sebebi, literatürde iddia edildiği gibi faiz hassasiyeti olmayıp, günümüzde katılım bankalarının mevduat bankaları ile eşit haklara sahip olmasından kaynaklandığı tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca çalışmada, internet bankacılığı ve mobil bankacılık işlemlerinin, katılım ve mevduat bankalarının tercih edilmesindeki en önemli iki etken olduğu ve bireylerin mevduat bankalarını katılım bankalarına kıyasla daha fazla tercih ettiği sonucuna da ulaşılmıştır.
This study aims to measure why participating banks and deposit banks operating in the Internal Anadolu Region are preferred by bank customers and the degree of satisfaction of bank customers with participating and deposit banks. For this purpose, frequency analyses and parametric statistical tests were used to evaluate the data set used in the study. According to the findings obtained from the empirical results of the study, the main reason that participating banks are preferred by bank customers is not the interest sensitivity as it is claimed in literature, and it is found that today participating banks have equal rights to deposit banks. The study also concluded that internet banking and mobile banking are two of the most important factors in the preference of participating and deposit banks, and that individuals prefer deposit banks more than participating banks.
In this study, it is aimed to determine the reasons why the participation banks and deposit banks operating in the Central Anatolia Region are preferred by the bank customers and to measure the satisfaction level of the bank customers on the participation and deposit banks. For this purpose, frequency analyzes, and parametric statistical tests were used to evaluate the data set used in the study. According to the findings obtained from the empirical results of the study, the reason why participation banks are preferred by bank customers is that they do not have interest rate sensitivity as claimed in the literature, and that these banks have equal rights with deposit banks. In addition, it was concluded in the study that internet banking and mobile banking transactions are the two most important factors in the preference of participation and deposit banks, and individuals prefer deposit banks more than participation banks.
