Abstract:

Problem Durumu: Bu çalışma 9. ve 11. sınıf lise öğrencilerinin epistemolojik inançlarının belirlenmesi ve bu inançların sınıf düzeylerine ve cinsiyete göre nasıl değiştiğinin araştırılması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Çalışmaya 356 (9. sınıf 193 ve 11.sınıf 163) lise öğrencisi katılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Epistemolojik İnançlar Anketi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Veriler iki yönlü Çok Değişkenli Varyans Analizi yardımıyla çözümlenmiştir. Bu analiz sonucu yılın bilginin gerekçelendirilmesi, bilginin kaynağı ve değişmezliği ve bilginin gelişimi alt boyutlarında anlamlı bir etkisinin olduğu bulunmuştur. Ayrıca, cinsiyet bakımından öğrencilerin bilginin gerekçelendirilmesi ile ilgili inançlarında kızlar lehine anlamlı bir etkisi tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract:

This study was conducted to identify the epistemological beliefs of high school students of 9th and 11th classes and to investigate how these beliefs change according to class levels and gender. Method: 356 (class 9 193 and class 11 163) high school students participated in the study. The Epistemological Faith Survey was used as a data collection tool. Results: The data has been analyzed with the help of two-way Multi-Variant Variant Analysis. The results of this analysis found that the reasoning of the knowledge of the year, the source and immutability of the knowledge and the development of the knowledge had a meaningful impact on the subdimensions. Furthermore, a significant impact on girls has been found in their beliefs about the reasoning of the knowledge of students in terms of gender.
