Abstract:

Nedim can be regarded as one of the most important poets of the last period of the 18th century divan poetry. In his poems, he had a variety of stories about his life. His poems can be seen as the poems that most reflect the life of the Lale Age. The paintings of the time he lived in his poems, the entertainment and tourist places of Istanbul, give information about the understanding of the entertainment of the time. We can say that the most important poetry in the poems of Nedim is Istanbul. Nedim, known as the Istanbul poet, is also referred to as an important poet of Lale Devri. Unlike many divan poets before him in his poems about the Lale Revolution, the use of the simple and understandable Turkish of the time he lived has given him a distinctive character in terms of language. Their poems were very popular in the time they lived and they loved them. Nadi is one of Divan poets who succeeded in influencing the poet who came after him. In his various poems, he clearly demonstrates the influence of Iran, Iranian poetry, mythology and literature. This article will include the elements of public science in the poems that we discussed by Nedim.
