Abstract:

The aim - Work is to be an example to other ready-made clothing by explaining how the accelerated digitalization efforts are developed and implemented with the industry 4.0 process. Method - The number of enterprises that can be studied is small due to the fact that the Industry 4.0 process is a new concept. For this reason, the company selected in the study was selected by preference of measurement status sampling from the purpose sampling methods. It has been determined to have done or are doing studies in the field of Industry 4.0. The findings - Business industry process has been found to be involved in their employees and they have established a information management system that they call "intelligent data management". With data collected from employees and machines within this information management system, operators’ performance, capacity information, machine failure, machine temperature and vibration information, machine availability conditions, information where the product is located, etc. It is also easy to determine which work is given to the employee by classifying the jobs received by the employee's capabilities. The changes in the Industry 4.0 process lead to a data and information-based production model. This model is based on an information management system that also includes employees. The assistant elements of this model are the technologies used in the industry 4.0 process. The difference of the study from other studies is that it reveals how the industry 4.0 process applications in the ready-made clothing industry are done in a real production environment.
