Abstract:

It is well known that one of the most important income sources of a country is tourism activities. It is thought that fossil fuel-based power generation plants will have negative effects on nature and human health as the increasing tourism activities with the increment of energy demand. In addition, the industrial revolution and technological developments also cause an increase in energy demand. In order to prevent the increase in energy needs to have negative effects on nature, human health and, consequently, tourism, an increment is observed in the usage of clean energy sources worldwide. It is clear that nuclear energy is the most effective and efficient among clean energy sources. Renewable energy sources such as the sun and wind are a supportive factor of nuclear energy. In this study, the effects of nuclear energy and tourism activities, which have an important effect in the economic development of our country, were investigated and the data obtained were interpreted.
