So many results that aren't mine?

Liberya Kökenli Plasmodium falciparum'un Etken Olduğu İmporte Bir Sıtma Olgusu

Abstract:

Bu rapor, Liberya'ya yaptığı bir iş yolculuğu sonrasında üşüme, titreme ve yüksek ateş bulguları ile hastaneye başvuran ve sıtma tanısı alan hastaya ait bir olgudur. Otuz dört yaşında erkek hasta, periferik kandan hazırlanan ince yayma ve kalın damla preparatlarının mikroskopisi sonucunda Plasmodium falciparum olarak değerlendirildi. Hastanın daha önce aldığı sıtma tedavisinde doksisiklinin yetersiz olması üzerine, yeni bir tedavi protokolü düzenlendi. Tedavi sonrası klinik iyileşme gözlenen hastada, yapılan kontrol amaçlı kan yaymasında sıtma parazitine rastlanmadı. Bu olgu sunumu ile son yıllarda sıtmanın endemik olduğu bölgelere yapılan yolculuk sonrası gelişebilecek sıtma hastalığına dikkat çekmekti.
