Bu araştırmaya, İzmir ilinde PISA 2018 ve TIMSS 2019 uygulamalarının yürütüldüğü okullarda görev yapan okul yöneticileri katılmıştır. Çalışmada yönetici görüşlerine göre okullarda yaşanan psikolojik ve akademik değişimlerin belirlenmesi, incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Okul yöneticileri öğrenci-öğretmen etkileşimi geliştirme, öğretim plan, programları üzerinde öğretmenlere dönüt sağlama, öğrenci performansını geliştirmek için eylem planları oluşturma, sınıf içi davranışlar konusunda öğretmenleri yönlendirme konularında etkili olan kişilerdir. Okul yöneticileri, öğretim liderleri olarak PISA ve TIMSS sınavlarına katılan öğrenci ve öğretmenlerin bakış açılarını ve katılımdaki etkililiğini doğrudan gözlemleyebilen bir konuma sahiptir. Okul yöneticilerinin görüşlerine göre belirtilen sınavların okullara etkisinin araştırıldığı bu çalışma, değişkenler üzerinde herhangi bir müdahale olmaksızın var olan bir durumun açığa çıkarılmasını amaçlayan betimsel bir çalışmadır. Bu araştırmaya, çalıştıkları okulda PISA 2018 ve TIMSS 2019 uygulamaları yapılan okullarda görevli 21 okul müdürü ve müdür yardımcısı katılmıştır. Yüz yüze görüşme tekniği ile veri toplanan bu araştırma için üç açık uçlu sorudan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış bir görüşme formu oluşturulmuştur. Ayrıca görüşmelerde kullanılmak üzere beşli dereceleme ölçeği ile yanıtlanabilen dokuz anket maddesi hazırlanarak kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular, PISA, TIMSS gibi uluslararası öğrenci değerlendirme uygulamalarının öğrenci ve öğretmenlerde genel olarak kaygı oluşturmadığı, öğrencilerin derse yönelik öğretmen ve yöneticilerin işe yönelik motivasyonlarını artırdığı ve okul iklimine olumlu etki ettiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
This study included school managers working in schools where the PISA 2018 and TIMSS 2019 applications are carried out in the province of İzmir. The study, according to the management opinions, is aimed at identifying and examining psychological and academic changes that occur in schools. School managers are persons who are influential in the development of student-learning interaction, teaching plan, providing teachers on their programs, creating action plans for improving student performance, directing teachers on classroom behaviors. School managers, as teaching leaders, have a position in which they can directly observe the perspectives and effectiveness of students and teachers attending the PISA and TIMSS exam. This study, in which the impact of the examinations specified on schools is studied according to the opinions of the school managers, is an imaginary study aimed at revealing a situation that exists without any interference with the variables. The study included 21 school directors and assistant directors in the PISA 2018 and TIMSS 2019 schools in which they worked. For this research, a semi-configured conversation form consisting of three open end questions, which is collected by the face-to-face conversation technique, was created. There were also nine surveys that could be answered with a five-degree scale for interviews. The findings from the study have found that international student assessment practices such as PISA, TIMSS generally do not cause concern in students and teachers, that students are class-oriented, that teachers and managers are increasing their job motivation and that they have a positive impact on the school climate.
