Bu çalışma, Osmanlı Devleti’nde XVIII. yüzyıl ortalarında Yeniçeri Ağası olan ve 1745’te Erzurum Valisi tayin edilen Yazıcızade İbrahim Paşa’nın Erzurum’daki vakıflarının genel bir incelemesini kapsamaktadır. Yazıcızade İbrahim Paşa, 1749 yılında Erzurum Şehri’nde dini, eğitim ve ticari mekânlarını içeren bir vakıf tesis etmiştir. Vakıfla ilgili birçoğu zeyl olmak üzere 6 adet vakfiye mevcuttur. Yazıcızade İbrahim Paşa’nın vakfına ait eserlerin bazıları bugün hâlâ Erzurum’da ayakta olduğu görülmektedir. Vakıf eserleri günümüzde Erzurum Şehri’nin fiziki yapısına katkı sunmanın yanında manevi ikliminin hissedilmesini sağlamaya devam etmektedir. Vakfın eserlerinden İbrahim Paşa Cami, Erzurum için ayrı bir yeri olan Çifte Minareli Medrese, Ulu Camii ve Lala Paşa Camii gibi eserlerle birlikte şehir kimliğine katkı sunmada rol oynamaktadır. Çalışmamızda Yazıcızade İbrahim Paşa Vakfına ait durum, vakfiyeleri üzerinden genel olarak ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışma ile şehrin hem fiziki hem de sosyo-iktisadi tarihine katkı sunması amaçlanmaktadır.

Abstract:

This study covers the foundations in Erzurum of Yazıcızade İbrahim Pasha, who was the Janissary Agha in the middle of the 18th century in the Ottoman Empire and was appointed as Erzurum Governor in 1745. Yazıcızade İbrahim Pasha established religious, educational and commercial places in many points of Erzurum City in 1749 through foundations. There are 6 endowments related to the foundation. It is seen that some of the works belonging to the foundation of Yazıcızade İbrahim Pasha are still standing in Erzurum today. Foundation works continue to contribute to the physical structure of Erzurum City, as well as to ensure that its spiritual climate is felt. Ibrahim Pasha Mosque, which is one of the works of the foundation, plays a role in contributing to the identity of the city together with works such as the Double Minaret Madrasa, Ulu Mosque and Lala Pasha Mosque, which have a special place in Erzurum. In our study, the works of the Yazıcızade İbrahim Pasha Foundation, how the foundation was managed, how it gained a place among the physical and social elements of the city were discussed in detail. Therefore, with this study on the foundation, it is aimed to contribute to both the physical and socio-economic history of the city.
