Alüminyum 7075 Matrisli Kompozitlerde SiC, B4C Ve TiB2 Takviye Elemanlarının Mekanik Özelliklere Etkilerinin Karşılaştırılması

Bu çalışmada toz metalurjisi yöntemi kullanılarak Al 7075 matris malzemesi içerisine SiC, B4C ve TiB2 takviye elemanları ayrı ayrı ilave edilmiştir. SiC, B4C ve TiB2 takviye ağırlık oranları %5, %10 ve %20 olarak uygulanmıştır. Kompozitlerin yoğunluk, sertlik, çapraz kırılma ve aşınma gibi mekanik özellikleri belirlemek için ölçüm ve deneyler yapılmıştır. Tüm numunelerin mikroyapıları optik mikroskop ile görüntülenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, en yüksek yoğunluk(%94,5) ve kırılma dayanımı (1418 N) ile en düşük aşınma miktarı(0,164 g) SiC takviyeli kompozitlerde meydana gelirken en yüksek sertlik değerleri(72,14 HBW) TiB2 takviyeli kompozitlerde ölçülmüştür. Mekanik özellikleri etkileyen en önemli faktörlerin, takviye oranlarının artışına bağlı olarak artan gözenek miktarları olduğu değerlendirilmiştir.

Abstract:

In this study, using the powder metallurgy method, the SiC, B4C and TiB2 supplementary elements were added separately to the Al 7075 matrix material. The SiC, B4C and TiB2 supplementary weight rates were applied at 5%, 10% and 20%. Measures and tests have been carried out to determine mechanical characteristics such as the intensity, hardness, cross-breaking and stretching of the compounds. The microbuildings of all samples are displayed with an optical microscope. According to the results obtained, the highest intensity (94,5%) and break-up resistance (1418 N) and the lowest exhaust amount (0,164 g) occurred in SiC supplementary compounds, while the highest hardness values (72,14 HBW) were measured in TiB2 supplementary compounds. The most important factors affecting the mechanical characteristics have been estimated to be increased portion amounts due to the increase in supplement rates.
