Abstract:

This study aims to showcase the design of noise curtains in school gardens in order to reduce or prevent noise. Schools are the areas where educational activities are carried out. The impact of these areas by noise, which is one of the environmental problems, will also have a negative impact on learning. Therefore, in these fields, the impact of the excess of the limit value of 35 dB(A) in classrooms, determined by the World Health Organization, 55 dB(A) outside the school building, on learning will also lead to a decrease in the performance of the student and teacher. All of these reasons are taken into account in this study specialty 4 schools that educate in the Isparta province center have been identified and these schools have been measured in 3 points (out of the garden, out of the garden, out of the garden in the classroom). By analyzing the results of the measurements and taking advantage of literature, the design of the noise curtain for each school was recommended.
