Abstract:

Status of the Problem: The question “What are the situations of being knowledgeable about the targets in flute teaching of the 3rd and 4th class flute teacher trainees who have been trained in music teacher training institutions” was determined as the problem status in the research. Purpose of the Study: This study is related with the situations of being knowledgeable about the targets in flute teaching process of the 3rd and 4th class flute teacher trainees who have been trained in music teacher training institutions. Method: In the study, descriptive researchment model was adopted as the method for the purpose of revealing the present status. Findings and Conclusions: In the study, it was found that the 3rd and 4th class flute teacher trainees who have been trained in music teacher training institutions have limited knowledge about most of the targets in flute teaching process, there is no meaningful difference in being knowledgeable about the targets and classroom variable and the type of school graduated, only the time of starting to flute education affects the situation of being knowledgeable.
