Bu araştırma, tavukların karaciğerinde perisinuzoidal hücrelerin Vitamin A metabolizması ile ilişkisini; normal ve Vitamin A palmi-tat verilen tavuklarda ışık, elektron ve fluoresan mikroskopi'k düzeylerde ortaya koymak amacıyla yapıldı. Materyal olarak 3,2 adet erişkin "Babcock" ırkı tavuk kullanıldı. Kontrol grubundaki tavukların, sitoplazmalarında 'bir iki adet lipid damlacığı taşıyan az sayıda perisinuzoidal hücrelere rastlandı. Vitamin A palmitat verilen tavuklarda ilk gün karaciğer epitel hücrelerinin sitoplazmasmrîa, ikinci günden itibaren perisinuzoidal hücrelerin sitoplazmasında Sudan III ve altıriklorüre karşı kuvvetli reaksiyon veren, Vitamin Aya karşı kuvvetli fluoresens gösteren lipid damlacıklarına rastlandı. Lipid damlacıklarının 15'inci güne doğru maksimum düzeye ulaştığı .gözlendi. Bu hücrelerin genişlemiş granüllü endoplazma keseleri içinde, sitoplazmadaki lipid damlacıkları ile aynı morfolojik ve his-toşimik özellikleri gösteren oluşumlara rastlandı. Bu bulgular ile, Vitamin A'nın, tavukların perisinuzoidal hücrelerinde Vitamin A esterleri şeklinde depo edildiği ve bu hücrelerin Vitamin A'yı esterleştirme akvititesine sahip olabilecekleri sonucuna varıldı.

This study was carried out to identify the relationship of perisinuzoidal cells in the chicken liver with the vitamin A metabolism; normal and vitamin A palm-tated chicken at the levels of light, electron and fluorescent microscope. 3.2 adult "Babcock" breed chicken was used as material. A small number of perisinuzoidal cells were found carrying one or two lipid drops in the cytoplasms of chickens in the control group. The first day in the chicken given vitamin A palmitat was found in the cytoplasma of the liver epithelial cells, from the second day in the cytoplasma of the perisinuzoidal cells, in the lipid drops that showed a strong fluorescent reaction against Sudan III and sixchlorure, Vitamin Moon. The lipid drops reached the maximum level on the 15th day. was observed. In the expanded granular endoplasma cuts of these cells, formations that show the same morphological and sensory characteristics as lipid drops in the cytoplasma were found. With these findings, it was concluded that vitamin A is stored in the perisinuzoidal cells of chicken in the form of vitamin A esters and that these cells may have the acvitity of esterizing vitamin A.
