Dünya yeni bir savaş çağına daha adım atarken diğer yandan Hümanizma da yükselen bir değer olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Dante Alighieri İlahi Komedya’yı sadece bir edebiyat eseri ve düşsel bir gezi olarak değil aynı zamanda devrin siyasal otoritesine tepki duyarak yazmıştır. Üç bölümden oluşan Cennet, Cehennem ve Araf anlatıları öylesine güçlü metaforlar yarattı ki döneminden bu yana Avrupalı sanatçıların gerçekten ilham kaynağı oldu. Dante, okuyucuyu ölüm sonrası bir seyahat macerasına davet ederken gerçekler, yalanlar ve imgeler dünyasında insanı inceledi. Sandro Botticelli’den Salvador Dali’ye kadar tüm ressamlara ilham verdi. Çünkü güçlü görseller güçlü sözlerle yapılır. Dante’nin zamansızlığı Hollywood ve tüm dünya sinemasında da ilham kaynağı olarak kullanılmasıyla açıklanabilir. Batı sinemasının fantastik, felsefi düşüncesinin altında mutlaka Dante vardır. Çünkü ‘İlahi Komedya’ kök kültür olarak koca bir uygarlığa ilham veren metindir. Jean Luc Godard’ın sineması ise ‘Yeni Dalga’ ile başlayıp apayrı bir dünya diliyle devam eden sinemadır. Çalışmada, Godard’ın 2015 yılı yapımı ‘’Müziğimiz’’ filminin içinde yer alan Dante çizgisinde yarattığı Saraybosna Savaşı’nın anlatısı ele alınmıştır. Filmde, en önemli metafor Saraybosna’dır. ‘’Müziğimiz’’ Batı uygarlığının “öteki” ne hoşgörü sınırının nerede ne zaman biteceğini sorgulayan bir film olarak görülse de yarı deneysel bir belgeseldir.
The world is moving further into a new war age, while humanism is also facing us as a rising value. Dante Alighieri wrote the Divine Comedy not only as a literary work and a dream journey but also in response to the political authority of the revolution. The story of Heaven, Hell and Araf, which consists of three sections, has created so strong metafores that it has since been a truly source of inspiration for European artists. Dante invited the reader to a post-death journey adventure while exploring the man in the world of facts, lies and images. He inspired all the painters from Santro Botticelli to Salvador Dali. For strong sights are made with strong words. Dante's timelessness can be explained by its use as a source of inspiration in Hollywood and all over the world cinema. Under the fantastic, philosophical thought of Western cinema there is definitely Dante. Because 'God Comedy' is a text that inspires a whole civilization as a root culture. Jean Luc Godard’s film begins with “New Wave” and continues with a world language. The study discussed Godard’s story of the War of Saraybosna in the Dante line in the 2015 film “Our Music”. In the film, the most important metaphor is Saraybosna. "Our Music" is a semi-experimental documentary, although it is seen as a film questioning where the "other" tolerance limit of the Western civilization will end.
While the world is stepping into a new era of war, Humanism also emerges as a rising value. Dante Alighieri wrote the Divine Comedy not only as a literary work and an imaginary voyage, but also as a reaction to the political authority of that era. Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory, which consist of three chapters, created such powerful metaphors that they have been a real inspiration for European artists since then. Dante studied humanity in the world of truths, lies, and images while inviting readers to a post – mortem travel expedition. He inspired all painters, from Sandro Botticelli to Salvatore Dali because strong visuals are achieved with strong words. Dante's timelessness can be explained by the fact that Hollywood and the whole world of cinema use it as a source of inspiration. The fantastic, philosophical thought of Western cinema is always based on Dante because the divine comedy is the text of a root culture that inspires a massive civilization. Cinema of Jean Luc Godard is a cinema that starts with the New Wave and continues with a totally different world of language. The study addresses the narrative of the Battle of Sarajevo, which takes place in his film “Our Music” that he created in 2015, in line with Dante’s style. The most important metaphor here is Sarajevo. Although ‘Our Music’ may seem as a film which questions where and when the Western civilization’s tolerance for “the other” would end, it is a quasi – experimental fiction documentary.
