ÖZ Amaç: Bu araştırma, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin internete yönelik epistemolojik inançlarını belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırmanın evrenini XXX Üniversitesi Hemşirelik Fakültesi’nde 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında öğrenim gören 1187 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Örnekleme yöntemine gidilmeden araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 608 öğrenci çalışma kapsamına alınmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında 12 soruluk kişisel bilgi formu ve Türkçe geçerlilik güvenilirliği Kılıç Çakmak, Karaoğlan Yılmaz ve Yılmaz (2015) tarafından yapılan İnternete Yönelik Epistemolojik İnanç Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma için etik kurul onayı ve ilgili kurumdan resmi izin alınmıştır. Toplanan veriler bilgisayar ortamında istatistik paket programlarının yardımı ile değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin internete yönelik epistemolojik inançlarında yaş grubu, sınıf, ikamet ettiği yerde internet bağlantısı olma durumu, günlük internet kullanma süresi, interneti kullanma amacı ve internete bağlanma aracı değişkenleri açısından bir farklılık görülmezken cinsiyet, öğrencinin hemşirelik bölümünü seçme nedenleri, internet kullanma süresi ve doğru bilgiye ulaşmak açısından interneti kullanmayı güvenli bulma açısından anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu görülmüştür. Ölçek puan ortalamasına bakıldığında kesinlik ve bilginin kaynağı alt boyutundan 45,41±14,15, bilginin gerekçelendirilmesi alt boyutundan 16,72±8,42, bilginin yapısı alt boyutundan 24,30±7,49 ve toplamda 86,37±16,74 olduğu saptanmıştır. Sonuç: Hemşirelik öğrencilerinin internete yönelik epistemolojik inançlarının orta/net olmayan düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Anahtar Sözcükler: Epistemiyolojik İnanç, Hemşirelik, İnternet
This study was conducted to identify the epistemological beliefs of nursing students to the internet. Tools and Methods: The universe of research was formed by 1187 students who studied in the 2018-2019 educational year at the XXX University Faculty of Nursing. 608 students who agreed to participate in the study without going to the sample method were taken into the study scope. In the collection of data 12 questions personal information form and Turkish validity reliability was used by the Internet-oriented Epistemological Faith Scale by Kılıç Çakmak, Karaoğlan Yılmaz and Yılmaz (2015). The research has been approved by the Ethical Board and official permission from the relevant institution. The data collected was evaluated with the help of the statistical package programs in the computer environment. Results: The study found that there were no differences in the epistemological beliefs of students about the internet in terms of age group, class, the status of the internet connection where they reside, the time of daily internet use, the purpose of the internet use and the means of internet connection; sex, the reasons for the student's choice of the nursing department, the time of internet use and the way to get to the right information there were significant differences in terms of finding the internet use safe. With regard to the measurement score average; the source of accuracy and information from the bottom size is 45,41±14,15, the reasoning of information from the bottom size is 16,72±8,42, the structure of information from the bottom size is 24,30±7,49 and the total is 86,37±16,74. The result: Nursing students’ epistemological beliefs to the internet are determined at a non-mediate/net level. Keywords: Epistemological Faith, Nursing, Internet
