The problem of antibiotic resistance in the world has emerged in recent years as a multi-antibiotic resistance. Although the options for the treatment of infections are limited, the failure to produce new antibiotics keeps this problem up to date. Our study aimed at investigating the sensitivity of daptomycin, which is an important option in the treatment of MRSA and VRE infections isolated from samples. Method and Requirements: Our study included 81 MRSA and 11 VRE juices, which were isolated from various samples between October and June 2013. The sensitivity of these daptomycin was determined by E-test failure taking into account the CLSI recommendations. S. aureus is found 100% sensitive to daptomy and linezolide. The sensitivity of vancomycin, tiroplanin, nitrofurantoin, quinupristin-dalfopristin and trimetoprim-sulfametoxazole was above 90%, while the sensitivity of tetrasiclin (22%), norfloxacin (21%) and gentamisine (25%) was low. Enterecocks were found 100% sensitive to daptomy and 82% sensitive to linezolide. Ampisillin, penicillin, erythromycin, nitrofurantoin, rifampin and tiroplanine were found 100% resistant. Daptomycin is one of the most important antibiotics that can be used as an alternative to MRSA and VRE-related infections. While Gram positive is effective, the problem of resistance continues to increase. They need new agents that are effective against them, pharmacokinetic and safety profiles suitable.
