Abstract:

Today, many countries are making great efforts to preserve, develop and benefit from nature, natural and cultural assets, while people, on the one hand, are struggling to preserve and improve the natural and cultural values of the environment, and on the other hand, are exploring the possibilities of taking advantage of these in the direction of recreational tourism. Recreational actions give man the opportunity to be more free and more together with nature. In terms of tourism, the positive work to be done in the tourism field for countries such as Turkey, which, in particular, natural resources enable foreign tourism to a large extent, contributes greatly to the economy of these countries. Furthermore, in preventing excess moisture and the destruction caused by them around the attractive tourist centers, coastal and mountain tourism is an important alternative solution. Although the Erzurum Palandöken mountain has few advantages compared to other ski centers, it is unable to take advantage of this potential because of the underground, facility, transportation failure and, most importantly, the promotion is not well done. The current potential should be thoroughly analyzed and the current and future recreational needs should be identified, and the work on the opening of the center to domestic and foreign recreational tourism should be immediately started.
