Abstract:

Introduction: The chest cancer section, which has been announced by the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC), where the treatment and tracking algorithms of cancer patients have been determined and re-updated after a period of 29 years. As a result of the failure to update the criteria in previous pressures for a long time, the data obtained in clinical trials and the beginning of discrepancies between the cancer evolution system have forced the researchers to update the evolution system. Material-Method: In our study, we have studied the variable data and causes by detailing the 7th edition of the Cancer Evolution Library published by AJCC in 2010 and the 8th edition published in 2017. Results: The assessment observed that HPV-based headache cancers, the depth of the tumor invasion and extracapsular spread in the lymphatic nodes had significant effects on evolution criteria. It was observed that the updated criteria in headache cancer patients were more consistent with the data obtained in studies, providing more accurate information about the prognosis. As a result of the expected time for the update, some groups of patients were aggressive and some groups of patients were undergoing insufficient treatment. Discussions and Results: Updated criteria will enable improved or aggressive treatments with updated therapeutic algorithms that can provide more healthy information on the prognosis of the disease.
