Abstract:

The aim of this study is to highlight the importance of literary texts and fairy tales in educating healthy children from a psychosocial perspective. Literary works, and fairy tales that reflect the collective spirit, transmit to society how the individual’s psychosocial development is formed and what is influenced by the fairy heroes. In this context, Keloğlan stories are considered to be one of the most appropriate arguments that meet this requirement in Turkey. This is why the story has been discussed in this study. This study has shown how Keloğlan’s life has been affected by the fact that Keloğlan’s father has been ashamed of him and the errors of the society in which he lives, and how Keloğlan’s life has been affected. As seen in the stories, Keloğlan realizes that what happens is an injustice, does not lose confidence, and throughout his life he also fights injustice and justice. At the end, this success makes him a hero. The difference between Keloğlan and Robin Hood is that it is not only taking from the rich and giving to the poor and ensuring equality on material balances, but also opposing the superiority of the classes in society. Keloğlan also interfere with commercial fraud between traders, oversee the rights of animals and eliminates problems within the family. Today, the problems of the child’s adolescence are solved in a very complex way with modern psychology, while the “Keloğlan Hero” which reflects the centuries ago, is more successful in taking the problems of the adolescence by taking responsibility and responsibility. In the fairy tale, the hero leaves the house for a reason, matures by winning the life struggle and eventually becomes a civilized person. The hero completes his individual development by giving this struggle alone and accepting all the values of the society in which he lives. In short, the hero learns life by living himself. If the parents are uneducated, far from the problem-solving ability and are affected by the pressure of the society in which they live, the child’s preparation for society as an individual is also unhealthy. According to the results of this study, which is hoped to contribute to the education of healthy children, it is recommended that more literary texts and stories be placed in school education programs and parents education. In this study, the theory of the funeral has been used by the method of quality research.
