Abstract:

Child abuse is a major public health problem that is frequently seen around the world. Detection of children who are abused is very important in cases where the abuser is one of the family members to protect the child’s health and to get rid of repeated abuses. In our case, the physical abuse and the investigation of this physical abuse appeared to be a repetitive nature, although the girl was given the necessary recommendations in the judicial reporting process, the judicial authorities continued to be subject to physical abuse due to the lack of measures and, finally, the physical abuse was added to sexual abuse. The sharing of this fact and the importance of the doctor’s approach to the abuse facts and interdisciplinary cooperation, as well as the importance of the final judgment and the effective role in the abuse process, is sought to be emphasized. The importance and necessity of repeated training in the management of child abuse and the cooperation of medical-legal-social institutions officials.
