Hangi Alandan Hakem Atanmalı: İletişim Çalışmaları HABER TELEVİZYONLARININ TWITTER HESAPLARININ ETKİNLİĞİ: MAXQDA İLE VERİ ANALİZİ Ramazan ÇELİK Trakya Üniversitesi, Türkiye [email protected] https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6957-5297 ÖZ Haber akışında çok önemli bir yere sahip olan medya, kitlesel ya da online mecrada bu görevini yapmaya devam etmektedir. Kamuoyu oluşturma ve bunu halka sunma görevi gereği haber akışı da durmaksızın devam etmektedir. Zaman içerisinde haber akışı yöntemlerinin değişmesi söz konusudur. Haber televizyonları kitle iletişim aracı olarak bir taraftan haber yaparken, diğer taraftan da bu haber akışını sosyal medya platformlarında interaktif olarak vermektedirler. Bir mikroblog uygulaması olan Twitter üzerinden de haber akışının çok yoğun şekilde yapıldığı görülmektedir. Bu çalışma Türkiye’de haber kanalı olarak yayın yapan televizyonların Twitter hesaplarına odaklanmaktadır. Nitel veri analiz programı olan Maxqda ile veriler analiz edilmekte ve söz konusu haber kanallarının Twitter’da etkinliği ölçülmektedir. Twitter’da takipçi sayısının en çok olduğu ilk 5 beş haber kanalı araştırma kapsamında değerlendirilmektedir. Haber kanallarının bir haftada attığı 3 bin 822 tweet tür bakımından değerlendirilmekte ve söz konusu hesapların gündemi belirleme çabası gözlemlenmektedir. Ayrıca çalışmada kullanılan dil, duygu durumu, etiketler, en çok kullanılan kelimeler, zaman, tweetin atıldığı kaynak gibi veriler de analiz edilmektedir. Due to the task of setting an agenda and presenting it to the public, the news flow continues without stopping. There is a change in news flow methods over time. While news channels are making news as a mass media on the one hand, on the other hand they are giving this news flow interactively on social media platforms. It is seen that the news flow is made very intensively on Twitter, which is a microblogging application. This study focuses on the Twitter accounts of televisions broadcasting as news channels in Turkey. Data is analyzed with Maxqda, a qualitative data analysis program, and the effectiveness of these news channels on Twitter is measured. The top five news channels with the highest number of followers on Twitter are evaluated within the scope of the research. 3,822 tweets sent by news channels in a week are evaluated in terms of genre and the efforts of these accounts to set the agenda are observed. In addition, the language used in the study, emotional state, tags, the most used words, time, the source of the tweet are analyzed. The public creation and the task of presenting it to the public, the news stream continues uninterruptedly. It is about changing the methods of the news stream over time. News TVs, on the one hand, communicate as a means of public communication, and on the other hand, they interact with this news stream on social media platforms. A microblog app on Twitter is also a very intense stream of news. This study focuses on Twitter accounts of television broadcasting as a news channel in Turkey. The data is analyzed with the Quality Data Analysis Programme Maxqa and the effectiveness of the news channels on Twitter is measured. The first five news channels with the highest number of followers on Twitter are ranked as part of the survey. Three thousand and eighty-two tweeted by news channels in a week are being evaluated in terms of the type of tweet and the efforts are observed to determine the agenda of those accounts. It also analyzes data such as the language used in the study, the state of emotions, labels, the most commonly used words, time, the source to which the tweet was thrown.
