Learning and education is a lifelong process. Therefore, lifelong learning is one of the most important factors in making individuals, both disabled or without a disability, attain to the community and making them produce. The purpose of the vocational education is to employ all the individuals in an occupation with a labor validity in line with their wishes and aptitudes and to make them attain knowledge, skill, attitude, behavior and habits that would enable them proceed in their jobs. When it comes to the regulations with regard to the vocational educations and rehabilitations of the handicapped people in Turkey, vocational education is regarded as a basic right with the item of “the right to choose their jobs and  have an education for the handicapped people cannot be limited”. “The Law for the Handicapped People” were enacted in the 2005 with an issue no of 5378. The purpose of this law was the prevention of disability and solution of the problems of the handicapped people with regard to health, education, rehabilitation, employment, caring and social insurance. It is known to most of us and accepted by most of us that our handicapped people thinking that they are being excluded due to some inadequacy and living in an introverted life are not different from other people in the society and that they only have some limitations. However, it is necessary that their status should be taken out of a limiting status in order that they could be included in the community and it should be taken into consideration that they could have an occupation that they would be successful just like other people. In addition, it is necessary that some arrangements should be made for the disabled people in the fashion designing and clothe production which is a branch of vocational education and having a prominent place in employment. It should be aimed that the handicapped people could make a connection between materials and products by putting an emphasis on developing their personal qualifications and skills and improving their basic and general conceptual perceptions, on the other the should be coming up with original proposals. In that way, the basic purpose should be training intermediate staff and practitioners depending on the principles of visual communication and design, and extending the employment fields for the handicapped people. In this context, the current study aimed at showing that the handicapped people could be successful when the programs of fashion designing and clothe production technologies in the vocational collages are brought to a suitable condition for the handicapped people and are carried out in line with the skills and characteristics of the individuals in vocational orientation. The results of the studies carried out in the world and in Turkey, how far we should proceed in the education of the handicapped people, the contribution of vocational guidance for our handicapped people are of importance in terms of the current study.
