Aile İletişim Becerileri Psikoeğitim Programının Eşlerin İletişim Becerilerine ve Çift Uyumuna Etkisi

Abstract:

Bu çalışmada, yapılandırılmış bir “Aile İletişim Becerileri Psikoeğitim Programı”nın eşlerin iletişim becerilerine ve çift uyumuna etkisi incelenmiştir. Çalışmada ön test – son test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Çalışmaya 24 çift katılmıştır. Deney grubunda 12 çift psikoeğitim programına alınmış ve program haftada bir gün olmak üzere toplam sekiz hafta planlanarak uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak İletişim Becerileri ve Çift Uyum Ölçekleri kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde Mann Whitney U ve Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar testi kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda deney grubu eşlerinin iletişim becerileri ve çift uyumu test puanlarının uygulanan psikoeğitim programı sonrasında anlamlı düzeyde yükseldiği kontrol grubu eşlerinin iletişim becerilerinin ve çift uyumunun eşler arası doyum, eşler arası fikir birliği, duygusal ifade alt boyutları ön ve son test puanlarının ölçümünde anlamlı bir fark  olmadığı, ancak çift uyumunun eşler arası bağlılık alt boyutu ön ve son test puanlarının ölçümü sonucunda anlamlı düzeyde bir düşüş olduğu deney ve kontrol grubu eşlerinin iletişim  becerilerinden egoyu geliştirici dil, etkin dinleme, empati, ben dili alt boyutları ve çift uyumu son test puanları ölçümünde deney grubunun puan ortalamasının kontrol grubundan anlamlı düzeyde daha yüksek olduğu, ancak iletişim becerilerinden kendini tanıma/açma alt boyutu son test  puanları arasında anlamlı bir fark olmadığı görülmüştür. Araştırmada, elde edilen bulgular  eğitsel doğurguları ile birlikte tartışılmış ve önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

Abstract:

In this study, a structured "Family Communication Skills Psychoeducation Program" examined the impact on spouses' communication skills and couples' harmony. The study used a semi-experimental pattern with the first test - the last test control group. 24 couples participated in the work. The experimental group included 12 double psycho-education programmes and the program was implemented by a total of eight weeks scheduled, one day a week. The research has used communication skills and double conformity scales as data collection tools. In the analysis of the data, Mann Whitney U and Wilcoxon marked sequence tests were used. According to the results of the analysis, the experimental group has increased significantly after the psycho-educational program; the control group has increased significantly after the experimental group has increased significantly after the experimental group has increased significantly since the experimental group has increased significantly since the experimental group has increased significantly since the experimental group has increased significantly since the experimental group has increased significantly since the experimental group has increased significantly since the experimental group has increased significantly since the experimental group has increased significantly since the experimental group has increased significantly since the experimental group has increased significantly since the experimental group has increased significantly since the experimental group has increased significantly since the experimental group has increased significantly since the experimental group has increased significantly since the experimental group has increased significantly since the experimental group has increased In the study, the findings obtained were discussed along with educational curricula and presented in recommendations.

In this study, the effects of a structured Family Communication Skills Psychoeducation Program on parental communication skills and dyadic adjustment were examined. Quasi - experimental pre-test and post-test with control group design was used in the study. 24 couples participated in the study. In experimental group 12 couples were taken into the program and it was planned and applied for a total of eight weeks. Communication Skills and Dyadic Adjustment Scales were used as data collection tools and Mann Whitney U and Wilcoxon Singed Ranks Tests were used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the analyses, it was found that communication skills and the dyadic adjustment test scores of the couples in the experimental group were significantly increased after the applied psychoeducation program; there was not a significant difference between the control group couples’ communication skills and dyadic adjustment and dyadic satisfaction, dyadic consensus, affectional expression sub-scales of the pre- and post-test scores; however there was a significant decrease in the dyadic cohesion subscale scores in measure of the pre-test and post-test scores; experimental group couples’ ego supportive language, active listening, empathy, I-language subscales of communication skills and dyadic adjustment post-test scores averages higher than control group couples’ averages; yet there was no significant difference between self-recognition/disclosure subscale of communication skills post-test scores. In the present study, the findings were discussed and the recommendations were presented together with the educational implications.
