Abstract:

This study attempted to evaluate the effects of internal migration to the problem of terrorist incident via the case of Mersin. A lot of studies have been done in order to clarify the relationship between immigration-crime and terrorism but in generally they have done with surveys or analyzing the crime statistics. This study includes literature review and analysis of interviews based on two fundamental pillars. In total, 17 people were interviewed in Mersin.These people were interviewed; by law enforcement position of experienced people, judges in the judicial process, members of the press working area, and opinion leaders who resided in the area. The research supports earlier findings emerged as a result of the interviews, on the other hand some suggestions about what can be done to solve the problem. According to research results of this process migration process performed of duty catalyst that is not a problem in itself also this period couldn’t be carried out well. At the same time because of the causes and consequences of obligatory migrations should be separated from the other migrations.
