In this present study, individuals of two different cultuvates of Clarias gariepinus species living in the Orontes river of Hatay regoin and Göksu river of Mersin region were genetically analized. Genomic DNA microsatellite loci Cga01, Cga02, Cga05, Cga06, Cga09 and Cga10 were separately amplified and compared. Cga01 and Cga02 loci amplification resulted in approximately 100 bp DNA fragment; for Cga05 and Cga09 loci app. 200bp; for Cga06 and Cga10 loci 150bp DNA fragment were obtained. DNA length polimorfism for all analyzed microsatellite loci did not show any difference.
