Abstract:

Friend Z. Özger's poem is a poem style that is far beyond the poetic perception of the period with an imaginative structure in unusual marginal speeches and inherited with sexual elements. When we look at the 1960s in which the poetry gave it, we can talk about a relatively liberalistic environment in which new ideas and speeches found the body along with the new constitution. Of course, with this liberal environment, we see that the left factions are moving and that they have a great impact on the general poem understanding of the time. Again in the same years, together with post-feminist artists, feminism gets a different dimension and goes to the search for a different language in art and poetry. With these developments, it is possible to say that Özger's poetry created an innovative poem freshness beyond the poem understanding of the period. When we look at the inner dynamics, the themes, the speech and the linguistic structure of this poem in a holistic way, Queer comes to us with a speech and criticism power. In the article, in order to be able to invade the marginal structure of Özger poetry and to understand the background of poetry practice, we will try to study the appearance of the poetry, the conceptual description and covering meanings by moving from the concept of Queer.

The poetry of Arkadaş Z. Özger is a poetry style that is quite outside of the poetic perception of his period with its extraordinary marginal discourses and with its image made of sexual elements. When we look at the 1960s, we can talk about a relatively libertarian environment in which new ideas and discourses come together with the new constitution. Of course, with this libertarian environment, we see that the left fractions are moving and that the era has also affected the general poetry understanding. In the same years, together with post-feminist artists, feminism gained a different dimension and searched for a different language in art and poetry. With these developments, it is possible to say that Özger poetry created an innovative poetry greyhound besides the poetry understanding of the period. When we examine the internal dynamics, themes, discourse power and linguistic structure of this poet in a holistic way, we encounter a Queer discourse and criticism power. In the article, in order to be able to penetrate the marginal structure of Özger poetry and to understand the background of poetry practice, the emergence of his poetry, conceptual description and implicit meanings will be studied.
