ULUSLARARASI TİCARETTE ÜRÜN VE FİYAT ADAPTASYONUNUN İHRACAT PERFORMANSINA ETKİSİ: KONYA İMALAT SANAYİNDE BİR UYGULAMA

Günümüzde küreselleşmenin etkisiyle birlikte uluslararası ticaret faaliyetleri, ülke ekonomisinin ve firmaların büyümesi açısından büyük önem kazanmış olup günümüz rekabet koşullarında firmaların yoğun rekabet ortamında hayatta kalması ve pazar alanını genişletmesi için uluslararası pazarlara açılması bir gereklilik olmuştur. Fakat, firmaların bu açılımı yaparken uluslararası ve ulusal pazarların farklılıklarını dikkate almaları söz konusudur. Dolayısıyla firmaların belirlemiş olduğu hedef pazarlara göre ürün, fiyat, tutundurma ve dağıtım stratejilerini geliştirmesi gerekmektedir. Bu kapsamda yapılan araştırma neticesinde Türkiye’de imalat sanayi sektöründe yer alan firmaların uluslararası ticarette ürün ve fiyat adaptasyonlarının ihracat performansları ile ilişkisinin belirlenmesi gerektiği gözlemlenmiş ve bu nedenle araştırmanın konusu şekillenmiştir. Araştırmada yer alan firmalara ilişkin betimleyici istatistiklere göre; imalat sanayi sektöründeki ihracatçı firmaların performanslarını etkileyen faktörler sırasıyla; “ürün adaptasyonu”, “algılanan ihracat performansı”, “fiyat adaptasyonu”, “firmanın rakiplerine karşı ihracat faaliyetleri” ve “firmanın ihracat faaliyetlerine yönelik tatmin derecesi” olduğu belirlenmiştir. Regresyon analizi sonuçlarına göre ise; yine söz konusu firmalarda ürün adaptasyonu ve fiyat adaptasyonunun, ihracat faaliyetlerine yönelik tatmin derecesi, firmaların rakiplerine karşı ihracat faaliyetleri ve genel ihracat performansları üzerinde etkili olduğu belirlenmiştir.

The impact of product and price adaptation on export performance in international trade: A application in the KONYA manufacturing industry

With the influence of today’s globalization, international trade activities have gained great importance in terms of the country’s economy and the growth of companies, and in today’s competitive conditions it has been a need for companies to survive in an intense competitive environment and open to international markets to expand their market sphere. However, it is important for companies to take into account the differences between international and national markets when doing this opening. Therefore, the companies need to develop their product, price, holding and distribution strategies according to the target markets that they have set. In this context, the research resulted in the fact that companies involved in the manufacturing industry in Turkey should determine the relationship of product and price adaptations in international trade with export performance and therefore the subject of the research has been shaped. According to the illustrative statistics of the companies involved in the study, the factors affecting the performance of the exporting companies in the manufacturing industry, respectively, were determined as: "product adaptation", "export performance", "price adaptation", "export activities of the company against the competitors" and "grade of satisfaction for the company's export activities". According to the results of the Regression analysis, it has also been determined that product adaptation and price adaptation in the companies concerned, the degree of satisfaction for their export activities, the export activities of the companies against their competitors and the overall export performance have an impact.
