Abstract:

Prematüre retinopatisi ROP prematüre bebeklerde gelişmekte olan retina patolojik gelişim ile seyreden ve görme kaybına neden olan vasküler hastalıktır. ROP önleme programları hem birincil hem de ikincil korunma tedbirleri içermektedir: Birincil ROP önlemi obstetrik, doğum ve yenidoğan bakımı ile ilgili kalite ve iyileştirmenin artırılmasıdır. ROP'ta ikincil koruma ise erken tespit tarama ve tedavinin sağlanmasıdır. Bu makalede doğum öncesi, doğum sonrası tarama ve tedavi de hemşirenin sorumlulukları üzerinde durulacaktır.
