Businesses in the tourism market should have a corporate reputation in order to survive. In the tourism sector, where asymmetric information is experienced intensively, bad enterprises can produce the products they produce in accordance with their interests. Because the buyers do not have accurate information about these products, the sale of the products in the specified conditions and the poor knowledge of the poor enterprises can be sold at high prices due to the fact that the bad enterprises are more than the consumers. Due to the information asymmetry, the reputation of the bad enterprises can be damaged. Good businesses can affect the demand of consumers by reducing asymmetric information thanks to their corporate reputation and quality service. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the corporate reputation and the asymmetric information and the institutional reputation of the consumers in the tourism market. The asymmetric information problems in the tourism sector were examined and the perception of the consumers about the reputation of the institutions against asymmetric information problems was evaluated. As a result of the research, it was found that there was a significant relationship between asymmetric information and corporate reputation.
