Abstract:

Bu çalışmada, Yusuf Ziya Demircioğlu’nun Türk folkloruna yaptığı katkıların ortaya çıkarılması hedeflenmiştir. Öncelikle Türkiye'deki folklor araştırmacılığı ve Yusuf Ziya hakkında yapılan çalışmalarla ilgili bilgi verilmiştir. Ardından, Yusuf Ziya'nın hayatı ve şahsiyeti, folklor çalışmaları ve eserleri incelenmiştir. Çalışmamızın sonucunda Yusuf Ziya'nın Türk folklor araştırmacılığında önemli bir yeri olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Özellikle alan araştırmalarını bilimsel anlamda başlatmış olması ve ilk defa ses kayıt cihazını kullanarak elde ettiği folklor ürünlerini kaybolmaktan kurtarması folklorumuz açısından kıymetini daha çok arttırmaktadır.

Abstract:

In this study, the aim was to reveal the contributions of Yusuf Ziya Demircioğlu to the Turkish folklore. First, information was given about the folklore research in Turkey and the work done about Yusuf Ziya. Then, the life and personality of Yusuf Ziya, folklore works and works were studied. As a result of our study, Yusuf Ziya has been found to have an important role in Turkish folklore research. Especially the fact that the field research has been initiated scientifically and the first time it has gained from the loss of the folklore products using the audio recording device increases its value in terms of our folklore.
