Ahmet Agaoglu is one of the important representatives of the history of Turkish social and political ideas, and has contributed greatly to the intellectual and institutional development of the Caucasian and Anatolian Turkish movement. As the subjects of the two empires and the citizens of the two republics, Agaoglu's activities towards the Muslim/Turkish enlightenment in the Russian Empire and the development of Turkism in the Ottoman Empire are great. He continued these activities under the influence of the social-political transformations that were intense, and made important studies for Anatolian and Caucasian Turkishness in terms of both thought and action. In addition to adjectives such as lawyer, politician, thinker, Ahmet Agaoglu, as a journalist, used his deep intellectual potential to enlighten the society and to give messages to the public and the administration when necessary. For this reason, he continued his journalism profession until the end of his life and did not leave his pen despite all kinds of pressure, violence and hardship. One of the newspapers that has an important place in Ahmet Agaoglu's writing activity is the "Cumhuriyet" newspaper. The articles Ahmet Agaoglu wrote for this newspaper for ten years (1929-1939) constitute a comprehensive bibliography. All of the articles were brought together by us and it was decided to publish them as a book by analyzing the content. These articles are an important source in terms of learning the perspective and thoughts of Ahmet Agaoglu and examining the social-political issues of the period he lived.
