Abstract:

One of the hardest criticisms made to the classical Turkish literature, which has covered a process of about six hundred years, is that this literature is a imaginary literature and is divided from reality and does not reflect the everyday life of the people. But many recent studies have shown that these criticisms are not true in the classical Turkish literature that the social, economic and political events of the time are included. In classical literature, sometimes in the poems, sometimes in the poems, sometimes in the special works, there are reflections of the daily life of the time. The 17th century poet of the Catechism is one of the most famous works that reflect the life of the time in which it was written. It is a book written in the form of a scripture. In the work of the Ottoman State, it is described as the time Yavuz Ali Pasha served as governor in Egypt. According to the author, the work was written on the order of Ali Pasha. In Nüzhetü'l-Cenân, from the appointment of Ali Pasha as a governor to Egypt and his executions here are detailed. The subject of this article constitutes the traces of the daily social life in the work of Nüzhetü’l-Cenân of Kâtibî. There are many details not listed in the history books about the time in which it was written in Nüzhetü’l-Cenân. In the first verse of the Qur’an, the Qur’an and the Qur’an were revealed. Then, at the beginning of the 17th century, the elements reflected in the Nüzhetü'l-Cenân on the social life in Egypt were ordered.
