Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to test the effectiveness of the teaching program based on the reverse-face learning model, compared to traditional teaching. The study used a experimental pattern of the Öntest-Sontest control group to identify this effect. The research study group 2016-2017 educational year spring semester, Black Sea Technical University Music Education Program I. II. and III. and IV. There are 30 individual playflot training students studying in the classes. The working group is made up of three groups, starting (n: 10), middle (n: 10) and advanced (n: 10), taking into account equations according to their levels. For this purpose, the method of Purposive Sampling (Purposive Sampling) is used in the selection of students who form the study group. The situation observed in the use of this sampling method is that the application’s impact on students at the beginning, middle and advanced levels is to be determined. Then the experiment and control groups were created by the method of reflectless assignment, including the initial experiment (n:5), the control (n:5); the medium experiment (n:5), the control (n:5) and the advanced experiment (n:5), and the control (n:5). For the purpose of studying the equality of the experiment and control groups, the two groups were also used in advances and the levels of the experiment and control groups were determined to be equal. The research’s data collection tool is “Academic Success Test”. The study applied non-parametric Mann Whitney-U and Wilcoxon Signed sequence tests. According to the results of the study; the academic success of the experimental group students showed a significant increase compared to the control group students.
