Abstract:

The objective of this study is to adapt the "Shorted Business-Family Enrichment Scale" (Kacmar vd., 2014) to Turkish and to make validity, reliability analyses. The study’s sample consists of 295 white-held workers working in the tourism sector in Antalya province. As a result of the analytics, a measurement tool was obtained, consisting of 6 substances and 2 sub-dimensions, which describes 77,234 percent of the total variance. These subdimensions are called business-family enrichment and family-work enrichment. The factor load of the scale varies between .79 and .91. The verifying factor analysis results showed that the model is perfectly aligned (X2 = 18,87, sd = 8, RMSEA = .068, NFI = .98, NNFI = .98, CFI = .99, IFI = .99, RFI = .97, GFI = .98 and AGFI = .95). The internal consistency reliability ratio is calculated as .88, for business-family enrichment, and .81 for family-business enrichment. The substance analysis found that the correlations of the fixed substance-total score of the lower scales varied between .63 and .83. Based on these findings, the "shorted business-family enrichment scale" can be said to be a measurement tool that can be used in the organizational behavior, in accordance with the Turkish culture, valid and reliable.
