So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

Abstract:

Abstract:

The ranking of universities according to academic performance is a topic that is followed with interest throughout the world. The objective of the ranking is to rank universities according to specific indicators and to help universities identify potential areas of progress through this ranking. In comparison with several indicators, it is possible to use multiple criteria decision-making methods to determine the ranking of importance. The aim of this study is to determine the ranking of importance of these five key indicators by the foolish analytical hierarchy process (AHP). The decision makers of the study are teachers. The assessments were obtained with the help of an survey containing a comparative matrix suitable for the foolish AHP. According to the results obtained from the Bully AHP, the most important indicator for decision makers was the total number of scientific documents. The importance of ranking results has been discussed in terms of institutions and universities that perform university rankings.

Ranking universities by their academic performance is important all over the world. The purpose of ranking is to rank universities according to specific indicators and to help determine the potential areas of progress for universities. Different institutions around the world use various indicators in university ranking. The main problem of this study is to investigate which of these indicators are considered more important and how the indicators will be ranked according to their significance. Multi-criteria decision making methods are used to determine the order of importance by comparing indicators with each other. The aim of this study is to determine the significance of these five main indicators by fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (AHP). The decision makers of the study are academicians. The evaluations were obtained with the help of a questionnaire containing the comparison matrix suitable for the fuzzy AHP. According to the results obtained from fuzzy AHP, the most important indicator for decision makers has been found to be the total number of scientific documents. The importance of ranking results has been discussed in terms of institutions and universities that perform university rankings
