SOSYOBİLİMSEL MUHAKEME YETENEĞİ ÖLÇEĞİ: TÜRKÇEYE UYARLAMA, GEÇERLİK VE GÜVENİRLİK ÇALIŞMASI

Abstract:

Bu çalışmanın amacı Quantitative Assessment of Socio-Scientific Reasoning (QuASSR) ölçeğinin Türkçeye adaptasyonun sağlanmasıdır. Çalışma bir ortaöğretim kurumunda öğrenim gören 9, 10, 11 ve 12. sınıf öğrencileri ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu ölçek dört alt boyut içermektedir. Bunlar karmaşıklık, bakış açısı, sorgulama ve şüpheciliktir. Ölçeğinin adı Türkçeye uyarlanarak Sosyobilimsel Muhakeme Yeteneği Ölçeği olarak düzenlenmiştir. Ölçekte yer alan soruların zorluk düzeyleri ve çalışmaya katılan öğrencilerin yetenek düzeylerinin analizinde Rasch Ölçme Modeli kullanılmıştır. Rasch Ölçme Modeli analizi bulgularından elde edilen sonuçlarda ölçeğin tek boyutlu olduğu ve yapı geçerliliğini sağladığı belirlenmiştir. Güvenirliğinin ise yeterli düzeyde olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Yapılan analiz doğrultusunda, öğrencilerin sosyobilimsel muhakeme yeteneklerinin düşük olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğrenciler en düşük beceriyi sorgulama alt boyutunda gösterirken en yüksek beceriyi ise bakış açısı alt boyutunda göstermiştir.

Abstract:

The Quantitative Assessment of Socio-Scientific Reasoning (QuASSR) is an adaptation of the Quantitative Assessment of Socio-Scientific Reasoning (QuASSR). The study was carried out with students of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th classes studying in a secondary school. This scale contains four sub-dimensions. These are complexity, perspective, questioning and doubtfulness. The name of the scale is adjusted to the Turkish as the scale of Social Procedure Skills. The Rasch Measurement Model has been used in the analysis of the difficulty levels of the questions included in scale and the skill levels of the students participating in the study. The results from the analysis findings of the Rasch Measurement Model have determined that the scale is one-dimensional and that the structure is valid. The result is that his confidence is sufficient. According to the analysis, the conclusion was that the students’ social judgment skills were low. Students show the lowest skills in the sub-dimensional questioning while the highest skills in the sub-dimensional perspective.
