Risperidon otizm spektrum bozukluğu (OSB) olgularında hedef belirtilere yönelik olarak sıklıkla tercih edilen bir moleküldür. Genel olarak iyi tolere edilebilmekle birlikte, çocuk ve ergenlerdeki yaygın kullanımı, bazı olgularda kasıtlı ya da kasıtsız olarak aşırı doza maruz kalma riskini de beraberinde getirmektedir. Bu konuyla ilgili pediatrik olgular nadirdir ancak şiddetli olabilmektedir. Bu yazıda, kasıtsız olarak yüksek doz risperidon etken maddeli ilaç içimi sonrası (100 mg) acil servise getirilen dokuz yaşında OSB tanılı bir olgu sunulmuştur. Literatürde görebildiğimiz kadarıyla olgumuz, çocuk yaş bir olguda görülen ikinci en yüksek doz akut risperidon alımı olgusudur.
Risperidon is a molecule that is often preferred for target signs in cases of autism spectrum disorder (OSB). Although generally well tolerated, its widespread use in children and adolescents also involves the risk of intentionally or unintentionally overdose in some cases. Pediatric phenomena related to this subject are rare but may be severe. In this article, an unintentionally high dose of risperidone active substance has been presented with an OSB diagnosed in the age of nine after taking the drug (100 mg) in emergency service. As far as we can see in literature, our phenomenon is the second highest dose of acute risperidone in a child’s age phenomenon.
