Abstract:

Blood-based practices in children provide the standardization of nursing practices by reaching the conclusions of the latest scientific literature. Improving the quality of care and improving the quality of care in nursing practice in children under Mukosit administration, increasing the level of patient satisfaction and standardizing the nursing care provided is only possible with blood-based nursing practices. In this review, evidence-based practices in mucositis management in children; were handled in the direction of systematic review results, meta-analysis, randomized controlled trials and guidelines. As applications; Chlorhexidine, Benzidamine Hydrochloride, Sodium Bicarbonate, Saline, Cryotherapy and Honey were discussed under the headings. It has been observed that pharmacological and non-pharmacological applications are used in the prevention and treatment of mucositis in children, but there is no standard practice in mucositis management.
