Abstract:

The lesson books are the most used lesson tools by students if they need teachers. Providing the follow-up of the teaching program and preventing disruption in the course processes facilitates the work of students and teachers. The preparation questions in the books contribute to the understanding of the subject, while the evaluation questions also ensure the consolidation of the subject. The teaching book reflects the teaching program. With all these characteristics, the teaching books come at the forefront of indispensable materials. 10 newly prepared. The Class History Curriculum and Program has begun to be used in the 2017-2018 educational year. The purpose of this study is the new 10 which was prepared by the National Education Ministry’s teaching program in 2018. The class history course is to identify how the physical design, educational design, the use of visual material and the measurement and evaluation dimensions of the history books are evaluated by the history teachers. Study universe Interest Publications in Turkey are history teachers who use the 10th class history curriculum. The examples of the study are formed by historical teachers. The technique of "sample sample" was preferred when sample selection was made. The IBM SPSS Statistics 20 program is used to analyze the collected data. Identifying statistics of the collected data are detailed. The independent sampling t-test, Mann-Whitney U test, One-Way ANOVA and Kruskal-Wallis H test, based on the variants of "age", "work year in the profession", "the department in which he graduated", found no researched, meaningful difference whether the teachers' attitudes to the subject of "Evaluation of High School History Teaching Books" showed statistically meaningful differences.
