Abstract: This study was carried out in order to determine the indicator species and evaluate them ecologically, with the help of numerical analysis methods, of the primary forest tree species distributed in the Akdağ (Burdur) region, and thus to offer suggestions during the implementation phase of forestry activities. The target species in the study were Red Pine (Pinus brutia Ten.), Black Pine (Pinus nigra subsp. pallasiana (Lamb.) Holmboe), Taurus cedar (Cedrus libani A. RICH.) and Long Juniper (Juniperus excelsa M. BIEB), which are widely distributed in the region. .) primary forest tree species were selected. In the study, the arranged data matrix of woody vegetation obtained from 85 sample areas was used. The data matrix was evaluated using inter-attribute relationship analysis. According to the results of the analysis, 6 positive and 3 negative indicator species were determined for red pine, 4 positive and 4 negative for larch, 4 positive for Taurus cedar, and 2 positive indicator species for juniper with 2 negative heights. Suggestions have been made that will contribute to sustainable forestry, especially the selection of the right species in forestry activities to be carried out by ecological evaluation of the indicator plant species obtained.
