ÖZ Bu makalenin konusu kitle iletişiminde ortaya çıkan etik problemleri tartışmak ve etik eğitimin bu problemlerin çözümünde oynayabileceği rolü göstermektir. Çalışmamızda bilişim çağında internet, internet suçları, televizyon, medya-demokrasi ilişkisinde ortaya çıkan etik problemler ve etik eğitime temel oluşturan etik kuramlardan söz edilmektedir. Kitle iletişiminde etik problemlerin yalnızca medya okuryazarlığı dersiyle çözülemeyeceğinin, bunun yanında etik ve insan hakları eğitiminin önemi vurgulanmıştır.
The subject of this article is to discuss the ethical problems arising in public communication and to show the role that ethical education can play in solving these problems. Our study discusses the ethical issues arising in the internet, internet crimes, television, media-democracy relationship and the ethical theories that are the basis for ethical education in the computer age. The importance of ethical issues in mass communication is not solved only by the course of media literature, but also the importance of ethical and human rights education.
This paper discusses ethical problems in the mass media, and presents the role of ethics education can play in solving these problems. The study comprises ethical problems related to internet, internet crimes, television, media-democracy relationship, and ethics theories that provide a basis for ethics education. The study underlines the fact that ethical problems in the mass media cannot be solved only with media literacy, but ethics and human rights education is also crucial.
