Abstract:

The aim of this study is to make a bibliometric analysis of the studies that study the subject of Islamic banking. The Web of Science reference directory has reached 307 articles as a result of the survey covering the months 1982-2020 June. Articles are analyzed using visual maping technique. The status and tendency of the subject, the relations between the authors working on the subject, the sources, the documents, the countries and the terms are visualized using the VOSviewer program. It has been found that despite observed that Malaysia has produced the most articles since 2010, the U.S. has the strongest links. The documents have found that the key words Islamic Banking, Islamic Banks and Pakistan are more commonly used, and the author with the most reference, Beck and others (2013), have found that the most reference magazine is Journal of Banking & Finance.
