Preschool period covering the period between 0-6 years (0-72 months), which is the learning and discovery period accompanied by play, is a very critical process in terms of psychosexual development, in which self-formation (that constitutes the core of self-perception or self-awareness) and cognitive development are largely completed, and it is very important for learning by experiencing with correct stimulants and/or guides in child development. Accordingly, considering preschool period, educational wooden toys made of wood, which is a natural material, are stimulants and/or guides that positively affect children in accordance with the developmental periods accompanied by development areas. Because, educational wooden toys made of wood, which is a natural and organic material with its fibrous and porous structure, with its versatile and functional features make important contributions to both physical and mental and personality development of children based on reaching motor skills and cognitive and social-emotional competencies. In this context, educational wooden toys are introduced in this study due to their versatility and functionality and their contribution to personality development.
