Bu çalışma, muhasebe programında kayıtlı öğrencilerin muhasebe programı hakkındaki düşüncelerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Küreselleşme muhasebe mesleğini de yakından etkilediğinden dolayı muhasebe programlarının değişen piyasa koşullarına göre ulusal ve uluslararası değişiklikler çerçevesinde zamanında revize edilmesi gerekmektedir. Bu değişikliklerin yapılırken, muhasebe programındaki öğrencilerin de görüşlerinin dikkate alınması programın gelişmesi açısından büyük önem arz etmektedir. Bu amaçla Uşak Üniversitesinde muhasebe programındaki öğrencilere birincil veri toplama aracı olan anket yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Verilen cevaplar SPSS programında analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler neticesinde, muhasebe programındaki öğrencilerin programa ilişkin görüşlerinin orta düzeyde olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu düşüncelerinde, mezun olunan orta öğretim kurumunun, tercih sırasının ve cinsiyetlerinin etkisinin olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Fakat öğrencilerin öğrenim gördükleri sınıfın bu düşünceler üzerinde etkisinin olduğu görülmüştür.
